Many gamers weren't happy since Square only decided to release FFV in Japan only until the release of FF Anthology a couple of years ago and many gamers were puzzled about why Square decided to only release FFV in Japan since FFIV proved to be quite popular among the RPG gaming crowd in the U.S. But after the release of FFVI in 1994, Square not only redeemed themselves to gamers, they also showed their expertise and skill at making RPGs and FFVI is still considered to be one of the best RPGs of all time, even in today's standards
